Snow joke

So there was I this morning, preparing to cross London,

... bundled up like a Polar explorer
... anticipating digging myself out from snow drifts
... leaping from ice floe to ice floe
... wrestling with bears,
penguins,
seals
and those funny floppity things with tusks ...

'I'm going out. I may be some time.
If anything happens, remember how much I love you all ...'

Eh? Hang on ... Where's the snow gone?

Anyone else notice the past few days seem to have assumed a certain dreamlike quality ...?

Hello there my newest Facebook friend - lucky old you with no snow. I'm in Brittany and I'm only just able to see the number plate on my poor little frozen car parked outside. I last went out 8 days ago and have been snowed in since then.

I'm a Londoner so now must read your blog and find out about you

you've got great word veris on here - the one for the first post was 'stobs' and this one is 'dingle'

Bonjour et bienvenue! Hope the thaw heads your way soon.

'Fraid I can't take credit for the word vers but I've noticed they're sometimes weirdly prescient. I remember doing a post about them a while back.
