I'm going out. I may be some time.

Gulp. I'm about to change ISP ...

Wish me luck.

If I disappear from your screens never to return, you'll know why.
It's been a blast ...
So long and thanks for all the fish.

(Mounts steed and gallops into virtual sunset clutching cd, modem, 4 wire thingys, 2 plugs, 1 unidentified techy object and a leaflet telling me it'll be a breeze.)

Ooh er, I hope you aren't gobbled up by the ether bunny...

Eh? Are you still there? Are all the wires back in?

I'm here - but I'm very s-l-o-o-o-w.

And hideous things are happening in my Outlook and I don't know how to sort them ...

And I smashed my favourite cup. *sniff*

No, techie issues leave me in a streaming sweat... I've just had to reinstall my wireless setup as 14 year old (who really should know better) decided to press the 'reset' button on the back of the gizmo... because it wasn't 'blinking,' rendering me internetless for almost a day!
After much swearing, at nobody in particular, I have managed to set up a new network... for flip's sake, why can' kids leave things alone! I wish you the best of luck - you'll be on top of it soon enough Debi!

Thanks for your touching faith in my abilities, Cailleach. Unfortunately they're ill-founded.

Anyone know about Outlook and Network Connections? Or am I going to have to phone Mumbai - again?

Heeeelllllpppp!!!

Sorry Debi, when the pooter is on I like to think of myself as quite a whizz, but the moment something goes wrong I turn into a gibbering wreck. Although I don't panic that I've been cut off anymore when things don't work. It tends to be a certain small furry thing playing with wires!

Hello London, this is your friendly YapYap technician in Mumbai.

Please make sure that all your bi-lateral interphasic quadroplons are functioning before attempting to align the corpusculating widget that we sent yesterday. Please also don't forget to initiate all breast shielding before using your blog.

Thank you
The Yapyap team

Somewhat surprisingly - I think I MIGHT have sorted it ...

I haven't been able to access my comments up to now or other people's blogs. Sorry all!

Is this the moment to say I believe ISP stands for Inferior Suppurating Pustule?
