THUMBS
- He's seeing dad regularly
- Transport is arranged automatically each time
- He's monitoring dad's condition and tweaking his medication accordingly
- He phones me whenever he has dad with him
- We discuss progress and agree together on the best way to proceed
- He listens to what I have to say and treats me with respect so that it's clear we both have the same aims ie what is best for dad
- He has a gorgeous voice
A big THUMBS DOWN to:
Dad's crap GP practice
Dad's crap GP practice
- Who have excelled themselves in terms of utter crapness. More of this to follow.

I am so glad that finally there is some light shining through the really crap service you've been experiencing. Now it sounds like it may well be time to fire the GP!
Good news, Debi!
Now, that's what I call putting your thumb down. Well done! :-)
It's more than my thumb that's going to come down later today if dad's prescription hasn't been sorted! My foot is itching to be put down ...
He sounds great as does his voice ( to you, anyway)
I know how you feel. I have been there with my own lovely dad. The urge to take care of them, to give them the best is so strong.
It's because THEY gave US their best once upon a time..
Spot on, Jan! My feelings exactly.
