Sweet 'n' sour

The bad news ...
I spent yesterday in bed with a perforated ear drum, feeling shite.

The good news ...
We don't celebrate Xmas, so the day is not as significant as it would be for others.

The bad news ...
It's the ear that until yesterday was known as 'the good one'.

The good news ...
I can see the sea from the bedroom window.

(We're cat sitting in Brighton. Which I guess is also good news ...)

Hope the news where you are is unmitigated good stuff.

Oh nooooooo! What a pain in the... ear. You know to keep it dry inside, right? Then it has a good chance of healing back to 100% within 6-8 weeks. I'll cross my fingers for you.

Sorry to hear about your ear Debi. I hope things are better soon. Jealous of your Brighton hangout tho. Would love to be by the sea right now. xxx

Back home now. Sadly, I'm a leading expert on ear drum perforation, mine resembling sieves with a fine coating of ultra thin tissue paper.

Ho hum ...

Sue, Babs and Liane - thanks, all. Sad to say the end is not in sight yet. Ho hum.

Alan et al - how could I forget? Tho it seems neither of our memories are that good. Farm Road was round the corner from where I used to live - and I only recognised the first one of those names.
