Apologies for the paucity of posts. I'm snowed under with work, which is great but leaves little time for blogging.
I also have a very unwelcome distraction that is taking up time and energy.
For legal reasons, I can't go into details at this point, but I will just say this:
I will NOT allow my children to be verbally abused (First Born) or physically assaulted (Little Guy)
in the street ...
by a teacher ...
at a neighbouring school ...
who appears to assume that, as they are state school children, they deserve no better.
It just ain't gonna happen.
Oh no! Sympathies with you D. Go get 'em.
ReplyDeleteOnly wanted to mention that unless you are actually in a court case or injuncted then you can say whatever you like about what happened to you or your family.

ReplyDeleteMy sympathies and my support. All bullying is bad. When perpetrated by a teacher... Frankly, if this happened to my kids in the street, I'd be straight onto the police.

ReplyDeleteas you know, deb, i'm on the education committee of one of the london livery companies and we deal with schools in london on a regular basis - both state and private. i'm extremely surprised to learn that the school concerned is taking the very dangerous course of attempting to defend the indefensible. i wonder if the governors have been apprised of the situation? and if the staff discipline and complaints committee is involved with the individual. is the press involved yet? because, frankly, it can only be a matter of time. i hope the management team are going to do the right thing - if not, they risk tarnishing the reputation of the school beyond repair.
