What really bugs me is 'i before e, except after c' but only SOMETIMES.
ReplyDeleteUntil about a decade ago, I always pronounced 'misled' (as in'deceived' - or is it decieved'?!) as 'my-zeld' (cf 'miser'). A nice word that ought to exist.
