This time last year ...
* I didn't have a website
* I didn't have this blog
* I hadn't linked up with all of you
* I hadn't met Maxine, Sharon and Minx
* I was finishing off Me, John and a Bomb
* I hadn't yet started Depth Charge
* I was still expecting Trading Tatiana to come out as a mass market paperback
* FB was still in primary school preparing for his SATS
* We were frantically checking out secondary schools
* A & D were still in Italy
* My dad was rushed into hospital
* G was still working at the pool mentioned here
* I was still on sabbatical
This time next year?

ReplyDeleteThe wheel turns indeed
Your brilliant writing gets more exposure
This time next year . . . .
We should never look back in sorrow and longing, only look forward with an open heart and welcome each change as it comes.
ReplyDeleteThis time next year, we'll all be millionaires..............
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that is constant is change. And change means growth, rebirth, discovery and adventure.
ReplyDeleteA continuing of improvement and even better things to come? Hope so!
ReplyDeleteThat minx, she always says such clever things, doesn't she?
ReplyDeleteI want to say what minx has!
ReplyDeleteYou've got me thinking about all that has happened in my life over the last year. Sometimes it's good to take a moment to remember!
I agree with Minx too. But sometimes it's hard to do.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I mean never to look back in sorrow and longing is hard to do - not agreeing with Minx!
ReplyDeleteYou're all so bloody clever and wise!!!
ReplyDeleteI never look back with regret. Just that in order to see where you might be going, you need to have a context ie see where you're coming from.
Not knowing what the future holds is a part of the excitement of the journey ...
