Testing ... testing ...

The wonderful Techy Mate visited on Saturday. She congratulated me on some bits (my anti-virus/spyware legions and update/scanning procedures) and rapped my knuckles on others (insufficient backing up, opening links in emails, saving book drafts to desktop).

She showed me how to cope with spam.

She also showed me how to get pix up here.

So would you like to see me on the slide?

  6. Message to first born: keep at your mum, she knows how much fun it is and I'm sure she'll let you in to the secret sometime soon!
Nice to meet you, first born!

  9. I'm going to have to agree with Caroline, FB. Can you imagine how your mum would feel if you went on an untested slide and it collapsed?

[feeling envious Debi... me wants to slide too]

  11. That does look like fun; either that or the most elaborate way of bruising yourself up ever invented.

Hi, First Born, pleased to meet you; I'm sure when it's properly tested she'll let you have a turn...

  12. We're aiming to go on 5 Nov (early) if you fancy taking them then, Debi!
PS the shot of you going down the slide is a lot less scary than that one Blogger uses!

  13. Ah, brings back fond memories! For those of you who haven't been yet, there are actually a whole series of slides at different height levels so that, for example, you don't have to throw yourself from the fifth floor of the turbine hall, but can try the (comparatively) sedate first floor option instead. So, which one does first born get approval for, Debi?!

  14. FB's gonna be blown away by your responses! Esp as no one comments on his blog and I'm not linking to him to keep his identity safe. So nice he can communicate here too.

Yes - nasty mean mum will deign to take him and LG. All in good time ...

Half term hols approach - tho unlikely to go on a Sunday, Maxine.

When you get there go straight to the free ticket booths as you have to book spaces for later in the day.

    And wear the elbow pads!
