Natalie d'Arbeloff who blogs at Blaugustine, is a fellow Bookarazzi bod and is the author of this utterly delicious book whose launch I went to a while back, has some amazing news.
She's won the Mary Stott prize competition, which means she will be ...
... editor of Guardian Women for a week some time next year!
Way to go, Natalie!
Dear debonair delightful diaphanous dedicated devilishly talented Debi, thank you for your always generous mention of me and my Augustine. We are your humble... well, humble-ish, servants.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, I wasn't the sole winner of the prize: there were two of us. Probably there'll be a notice in tomorrow's Guardian - I'm so ashamed not to have heard the other winner's name! When the announcement was made at the party and I heard my name, that's when I went deaf to everything else.
Ah now, Natalie. Has success gone to your head? (I see you're using the royal 'we'.)
ReplyDeleteIf so, it's well deserved!
