If you only know me via the blogosphere, it will be business as usual. If you know me in Real Life, you'll now understand why I seem to be giving you the cold shoulder. I simply didn't hear you ...
You had me worried, Debi. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Oh dear Debi, I hope it's days rather than weeks.
ReplyDeleteI SAID (for the third time)GET WELL SOON!
ReplyDeleteHope you're well soon, Debi, with hearing back to normal. I was going to flip on the caps-lock, but I see Minx has already tried that. Wish I could cook up a spell...
ReplyDeleteReally sorry to read this Debi. Hope you're better soon.
ReplyDeleteI remember long ago a friend who got into the bus with me. The driver mumbled something at her. She simply
walked past. He started to shout at her. Had no idea she was deaf. Some of the difficulties she had to put up with. I never forgot that.
take care.
Get well real soon! If I could develop selective deafness I would do a lot more writing. I wouldn't be able to hear the brood murder one another. Oops, gotta go, They're at it again :-)
ReplyDeleteHope it clears up for you soon, Debi!
ReplyDeleteI hate it! I should really have warned you all - when it comes to being deaf I'm Mrs Grumpy, winner of the Grumpiest Person in Grumpyville award and lifelong President of the Grumpy Assoc.
ReplyDeleteI was going to do a post on just why it's so awful and alienating but then I'd probably lose all my friends and have to be gumpy all the time, even when I'm not deaf ...
Nothing wrong with grumpy........it keeps the weirdo's away!
ReplyDeleteHope you rever soon.......
LOCKED my ears are locked!
ReplyDeleteLocked? No BlOCKED!
Sit at the front
I still can't hear.
Whats 8x12
I've no idea.
I'll bet you're not as grumpy as H - whose lightning flashes of sheer frustration illuminate the whole street. (We don't need even the energy saving bulbs.)
Really hope it clears soon xxx
I can totally relate to H's frustration and suspect I'm at least as bad ...
